Law studies in Berlin and Paris (as German National Academic Foundation scholar), attorney-at-law since 1986, public notary since 1993. Adjunct professor at the Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft in Karlshorst, Berlin (now: HTW), from 1990 until 1993 and from 2004 until 2006, for commercial law and drafting of contracts in civil law practice.

Stefan Hain specializes on advising corporations in the field of finance and in the construction industry. He is active in the areas of real estate law, law of banking and corporate law as well as inheritance law. Additionally, he advises technology corporations and companies of the creative industry, art galleries and artists.

As public notary, he is especially active in the areas of real estate law, corporate law and inheritance law.

Stefan Hain is a member of the examining board of the states Berlin and Brandenburg for accountants.
